(Toronto, ONT, Canada)- As a long-time J/24 sailor from Coral Reef YC and Miami, Florida
(including winning a J/24 Midwinter Championship),
Augie Diaz and
his crew- Kathleen Tocke- just won the Snipe class for the USA in the
2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto, Ontario. Host for the regatta was the
Royal Canadian YC- the home of many J/24 and J/105 champions over time,
including
Terry McLaughlin, who is not only the Silver Medallist in the
J/24 Pan Am Games this year, but also the current J/105 North American
Champion (having won that event in the same waters as he just sailed in
the Pan Am Games off Sugar Beach!).
