J/34 IOR Boat Sailing In Toledo!
(Toledo, Ohion)- A J/34 IOR boat in Toledo, Ohio?? What is that? Well, in the recent Toledo Mills Trophy Race, KNEE DEEP, owned by Brett and Katie Langolf, recently won the Commodore Wood Trophy at the annual Mills Trophy Race.
The Mills Trophy Race, sponsored by the Toledo Yacht Club, began in
1907 as a test of navigational skills in the Great Lakes. The race has
been held nearly every year since then. In addition to the Commodore
Wood Trophy, KNEE DEEP also took 2nd in their class. The previous week
they used the Commodore Perry Race at North Cape Yacht Club as a tune up
and took a 3rd overall. KNEE DEEP races under the Sandusky Sailing
Club and Deadman's Flat Yacht Club burgees.
