(Oakville, Ontario, Canada)- The J/27 North Americans will be hosted
once again this year by the Oakville Yacht Squadron, on Lake Ontario on
August 8th to 10th. As of June 28th, 14 boats are registered, and there
is promise to reach 20.
This
is a very special event for the J/27 fleet as it commemorates 30 years
since the introduction of the J/27. The fleet will be comprised of
local boats from Oakville and surrounding Lake Ontario clubs, Buffalo,
Boston, Maryland, Lake Huron, Georgian Bay and Lake Simcoe. A heartfelt
“thank you” to Andrew Reim, Lake Ontario Fleet Captain for his
continuing efforts to bring this great event together, which is now in
